Overview

The ZN63(VS1)-12 series indoor fixed-type/trolley-type high-voltage vacuum circuit breaker is an indoor switchgear for three-phase AC 50Hz with a rated voltage of 12kV. It is used for the control and protection of electrical equipment in industrial and mining enterprises, power plants, and substations, and is suitable for places with frequent operations. The operating mechanism is integrated with the circuit breaker body, allowing it to be designed either as a fixed installation unit or combined with a dedicated trolley mechanism to form a trolley unit. The main circuit can use an integral sealed pole structure to achieve a compact, highly reliable, and maintenance-free circuit breaker. It can be installed in KYN28A-12(GZS) and other centralized trolley-type switchgear, and the fixed-type version can also be used in XGN series fixed switchgear.

Operating Environment

1. Ambient air temperature does not exceed 40°C, and the average value measured within 24 hours does not exceed 35°C, with the minimum ambient air temperature being -15°C; 

2. Altitude: not exceeding 3000m; 

3. The surrounding air is not obviously polluted by dust, smoke, corrosive, flammable gases, vapors, or salt spray; 

4. Humidity conditions: the average relative humidity does not exceed 95%, the monthly average relative humidity does not exceed 90%, the average water vapor pressure does not exceed 2.2 kPa, and the monthly average water vapor pressure does not exceed 1.8 kPa; 

5. Vibrations or seismic movements from external switchgear and control devices can be ignored; 

6. The amplitude of electromagnetic interference induced in the secondary system does not exceed 1.6 kV. 

7. Special usage conditions: 

For installation locations at altitudes over 1000m, ambient air temperatures exceeding the limits specified for normal use, or high humidity areas prone to condensation, please negotiate with us for customization.

◆ Enhanced insulation cylinder

◇ The insulation cylinder is formed using the APG process.

◇ The insulation cylinder is equipped with inner flanges and reinforcing ribs, improving insulation level and stability against dynamic short-circuit current.

◇ The vacuum arc-extinguishing chamber is installed inside the insulation cylinder, effectively preventing damage and surface contamination caused by foreign objects, while also reducing the overall size of the circuit breaker.

◆ Flexible and convenient operating functions

◇ The operating mechanism adopts a spring energy storage type, with both electric and manual energy storage functions.

◇ When the circuit breaker operates, the energy of the stored spring is transmitted to the link mechanism through the output cam, and then to the moving contact through the link mechanism.

◇ Reasonable buffer device, no rebound during opening, reducing opening impact and vibration.

◇ No adjustment required, minimal maintenance.
